Extrema Festival// 15-07-2006// Lake Aquabest// Holland
Just got back from this fabulous festival with over 30,000 people all on a beach side in the middle of Holland. Couldnt pick a better day, it was really hot with a clear blue sky.
I played after Martin Solveig and before Deep Dish, to my surprize, in the middle of my set the generators went and all the sound cut.
In the meantime I did a stripshow to keep the crowd going and shared my vodka...
The show worked out and the sound came back. The highlight was taking a speedboat to the other side of the beach, cuz the crowd was immence and I couldnt have walked through to do a radio interview on the otherside - cool! Although me and Martin had to walk through the crazy crowd to get there at the begining - it took 30 minutes to get to the stage! I like interacting with the crowd though.
The afterparty was cool too, and a wicked spot. I played a more deep and progressive minimal set which worked out well, considering that the crowd didnt want the hits.
