Just a half hour away from Athens on the sea side is a new and up coming area for Greeks to enjoy there summer and it is stunning. There is a really good restaurant called The Terrace and its over a cliff overlooking the sea with lights below the bottom terrace, so it brightens the clear sea and people were still swimming about. A path from the top leads you to the sea below. Greeks know how to eat, so I filled up for sure and had a drink upstairs and watched the view of a full moon lighting the sea.
I had the honour of Ron Carrol coming down to the gig as he was about doing his thing and Dino from Skybeat one of the best flight agents around. I started my set a little early just to get my vibe going.
I have never had a bad time playing in Greece and the crowd is always up for a good one. The night built up nicely with abit of the deeper thing to techi stuff, some minimal and progressive towards the end with a few classics, done deal.
That was just the set, but from the pics you can tell there was alot more going on. It was alot of fun.
