I was invited to play a 10 year anniversary for The Twins...
I arrived in the evening, so not much time to chill. A quick fix up at the hotel and off to dinner with the twins and the promoter. Dining in spain overall is good, but if you love meat then this is the place...
It was suppose to be an outdoor event with a massive pool and dancers, although it was HOT there was a slight chance of rain. Luckily for us they had a back up plan.
It started off great with good deep soulful gems by the opening DJ. The crowd was getting bigger and the rain was coming slowly. I still got on and then continued the deep vibe, but the rain was here to stay and everyone was asked to move inside, luckily the venue had a club in-door also.
Playing outside was a different vibe - more of a slow builder, but when we moved it inside, that changed, I got on straight away with techy, minimal, electro grooves and some more peak deep grooves and the place just got crazy. Two vocalist taking turns on the mic singing over the tunes from time to time and they both were really good. Going inside made it feel like a proper after party, so thats why I changed the music.
I hope the pics and video (coming later) can make you understand all the energy, what a great 10 year Anniversary. It was an honour to play for The Twins.
